Rosenborg also fell apart in the 2nd half against Norrkoping and conceded 3 goals in the away match.

On the basis of the above I expect most damage to be done by APOEL against Rosenborg in the 2nd half at the GSP.

APOEL must play more defensively in the first half and then go for the kill in the 2nd when the Norwegians will be exhausted.

APOEL can win 1-0 and qualify for next round.

There is a chemistry mismatch in APOEL's formation. In the first half they played very badly, but in the second half, after a couple of substitutions, they played much better.

I reckon APOEL should have signed up two new centre halves, instead of aging Carlao and that fool Astiz.

Yes and that new Carmargo guy seems to be yet another idiot!

It's a f*cking mystery why these players are signed by a club like APOEL.

This guy is 33 years old and his last good season was in 2014.

Just another Piatkowski (IMO). :?

Today...

18.00 AEK Larnaca vs. Spartak Moscow

20.45 Grasshoppers vs. Apollon Limassol

IMO, AEK must win and Apollon must score at least once. It won't be easy!

We actually have a good recent history against Russian teams...

2014: AEL 1-0 Zenit

2012: APOEL 2-1 Zenit

2014: Lokomotiv Moscow: 1-4 Apollon Limassol

2014: OMONOIA 1-2 Dinamo Moscow (Dinamo scored at 94" I think)

So don't be surprised if AEK wins this match. :)

I have faith in this year's AEK Larnaca; they play aggressively, they are not afraid to take their chances, and they seem to have a compatible team with good communication between them.
Alves and Trikovski are dangerous near the box... give them half a chance and they can score.

1-1 FT

AEK played well against a more expensive team.

They can still qualify in the return leg.
