It’s unfortunate that this year’s Apollon have proven to be a bunch of buffoons!

AEK still our best team in the tournaments.

AEK 1 Spartak Moscow 1
Grasshoppers 2 Apollon 1

Apollon missed a penalty and finished in 10.

Apollon fans are probably thinking that they’ll get the Grasshoppers in Limassol but the problem is that with so many stupid unnecessary yellow cards they won’t have anyone worthwhile playing on the day!

I don’t see them going through to the next round… not because they’re not skillful but because they’re amateurs in attitude who just gave an easy game away.

I think Apollon can do it. AEK probably has 10% chance to qualify. IMO...

They are technically superior but intellectually primitive. They’ll just throw the game away again.

It’s such a shame that AEK didn’t get this easy opponent and it’s gone to waste!

Told you to stop drinking that dodgy whiskey in your freezer....there's only one professional team that has the attitude regardless of the squad to "manage" a european game. Where some of the other teams may have the enthusiasm and some skill to get a result every now and then, Apoel is the only one that has that extra gear in these games to get a result no matter what.
