The first loss at the GSP in 32 games… not a bad record. And before anyone gives credit to Anderlecht... it had nothing to do with them because they're pretty mediocre but more to do with APOEL's missing key players, bad formation without them, and subsequent very bad first half. Another classic case of referees writing football history, not teams or football players!

At the end of the day all our previews and predictions are all for nothing because the greatest determining factor in match results proves to be the referee.

If and when computers replace fallible and corruptible humans to umpire football matches our predictions will become much more accurate and much more profitable and no doubt betting shops will probably start closing down.


If a computer was refereeing this match Barca would NOT advance.

End of story.
