Complete nonsense. There is only one colour in Turkey and that's Erdocunt, all others have been wiped out or soon will be.

My church has never told me to like or dislike anyone. I choose the HATE Turkey for what she did and is doing to Cyprus and as long as she is here I will continue to hate her and all that represent her.

If anyone is a fascist here it is Turkey and the illegal occupied areas, those in glass houses should not throw stones comes to mind.

It seems the first decision to be taken under the new emergency powers in Turkey is to deny permission to put up a tent to a group of eighty workers who have been dismissed for being members of a trade union and are protesting in front of their former workplace.

Capital, we are told, is worried by Erdogan’s increasingly authoritarian streak. I wonder what it is worried about.

Yes but these BS theories tend to have some truth in them. No smoke without fire springs to mind.

The coup failed because Turkish economy is still in good shape. IMO, it was bad timing!

Tim Drayton wrote:Another conspiracy theory doing the rounds particularly in the Kurdish community is that the Kemalists tricked the Gulenists into staging this coup promising that they would then lend it their support, but then left them to their fate, because they also wanted to see the Gulenists purged from the armed forces and elsewhere.

It is noteworthy that a number of officers who stood trial and were acquitted in earlier show-trials directed against Kemalists in the armed forces based on allegations of coup plotting have been rapidly promoted to fill places vacated by those removed in the recent purges. Perhaps it is just desperation.

 You are a fool... 1/3 of the Turkish military participated in the coup.

The reason of its failure is what I posted above.
