some of us left cyprus because of the lack of job opportunities. you will find it very hard to get a decent job in cyprus unless you have a relative in place already.

AlphaM do not listen to this idiot, he doesn't what he is talking about. A lot may depend on your nationality, if you are from a 3rd country, you may not be allowed to take any job especially if you are here on a student visa.

If you are EU, then for an unskilled person you can work as a labourer, in restaurants, waiting, kitchen help, delivery and such like. If you google jobs in Cyprus, it will give you links to places offered. If you speak/read/write no Greek then it will be harder.

I know a number of people who have just moved to Cyprus and have found work in a matter of days. Go hunting and don't be shy to ask.

Good luck.

...you are young, this is to your advantage.

Firstly, what is it you like to be doing; work will occupy a great deal of your living.

Where do you live, look around you, someone has a job for you, if you have no work, start anywhere walking distance from your home; and be helpful (do not despair).

Be wise, save your money whatever you do, for your retirement you will need it. I say never loose a dollar when you make your investments, be sure the worst that happens is that you get your dollar back.

Literally, walk up to the building, where you want to work, where you feel you belong, and knock on the door; they may not have something for you immediately, but when you return they may remember you.

cheers.
