I have a car in Kentucky/Usa. It s a V8 4400cc 1996.
If i ship the car to Cyprus, do i have to pay taxes? how long can i keep it there?
can i leave the car there or do i have to export it?
i am a Cy resident.
anybody can help?
i tried emailing the Cy customs... their answer: ''check our website..blah blah blah'' it didnt help. |

The taxes on large engined cars are horrendous; alos at one stage you had to get permission to import a LHD car into Cyprus but I ma not sure if that is still in force.
I will try to dig up the tax figures tomorrow.

I was out with the owner of one of the major Supermarket chains here, he has a black 735Li; I have seen the new BMW 635i convertible.
