Postby Cma » Sat Jul 30, 2016 9:49 pm

If someone comes to study in European cyprus, how much he can earn doing odd jobs in 1st six months when work is not allowed? And will it be enough to cover cost of living?

Zero and no.

Don't you have to show you have enough money to finance your studies before you are given a visa?

"European cyprus", I have never heard that one before...

...welcome to our little Forum Cma, there is a Cyprus. What is the 'other side', is Cyprus; only that it is illegally occupied by the Turkish Army. There is no, "Turkish Cyprus", "Greek Cyprus", "North Cyprus, "South Cyprus", "European Cyprus", (or "European cyprus"), these are myths, made-up words, most commonly used by ignorant people who have little interest in truth toward supporting political intentions they would rather see believed. Cyprus is Cyprus, and although there are "Greeks", and "Turks", who live among us, Cypriots remain, and exist, despite the efforts against them. My hope is that if you enjoy this island for your studies, and leave, you will remember the people who need your help the most, like the Cypriots there are people out there who fight for Freedom, and for the Universal Principals such a concept stands for, that who divides us by Hate is the "Them" if there is an "Us", as in Cyprus "this" must stop.

cheers!

...what are you planning to study?

Interesting reply, actually I have only heard European cyprus and Turkish cyprus, I don't know the reality and history of it so pls accept my apologies.
My question was if there are enough opportunities for students to earn some money? I was planning for graduate program in hotel management or bba.

#Greek island girl
Yes I have shown enough funds but still I want to earn some money while studying. I think there is no harm in it.

This is not the right place to be asking such questions as nobody here is a student let alone a foreign one.

Solve your queries on college/uni websites, the ministry of education, student blogs, etc.

Cma, if you are not from EU as a student you are allowed to work legally only for specific kinds of jobs. You can do other jobs, for cash, but don't expect to earn much.

You’re not wrong... in a few days I’ll be 51 so my wife asked what I’d like to do and I said nothing!

When you’re past half a century what’s there to celebrate?
