| Has anyone come across a garden centre/nursery that sells acer/maple trees and bushes. |

| I doubt whether you will. Most of the Acerecae grow only in temperate climates, requiring hard frosts and a long rest period. There are exceptions but the only ones likely to grow here are not true maples but belong to genus dipteronia. |

| Hello, thanks for the reply. Wonder if they'd grow in the mountains. We've certainly had a few frosts where we are. I also noticed some trees that look a lot like acers, but maybe they are the similar sort that you refered to. |
