Not at all mate, this is not an attack on you not in the least. I just want to find out how many, if any, share your views on the Syrian issue, surely you too want to find out.

yes it is, there is no point denying your attention seeking antics.

Your tactic is to publicly shun and humiliate my reasoned world views on a Cypriot Forum where many people can't reconcile them but little do you know that such a poll bears little to no resemblance to how things are on the international arena. There is nothing wrong with my views as opposed to your sledgehammer approach. There is no military solution to be had in Syria, just misery and disaster for millions of people.

This thread is a personal attack against me. And EXTREMELY stupid!

On the contrary. The poll is to find out who else supports your rumblings on Syria, Your coalition, Your rebels, your demand that Assad steps down, your eagerness, sometime back , to see a no flight zone over Syria imposed by Clinton that you thought would win the US elections. You started counting the days, remember? Mate you have it all wrong. Your rebels are a bunch of jihadists hell bent on imposing sharia law on to the Syrian people. Remember that Syria was and still is a secular country. Only Turkey supports your views.

Yes we will still have a NO FLY ZONE if we have to in order to protect people from slaughter. it's inevitable. We will also have a NO FLY ZONE to protect Kurdish Airspace which we will consider sovereign and separate from Syria without a comprehensive settlement.

Hang on a few minutes. He's changing his stance (yet again). :P

I won't add my vote as I feel Paphitis has as much right to express his views, as I have. I agree with very little he posts but he does have some periods of rationalised opinion ..... but not many and not very often.

I don't care what he posts and although, as he says, he never bothers to read my posts, I do read his and invariably I read his links, on the rare occasion he posts one. If someone takes the time to sit down and type out their opinion, the least I can do is read it, so that any comment I make is based on what the member posts. To make a derogatory comment on a post and admit you didn't even read it in any depth, just a quick skim of the first couple of sentences, to me is an insult to the member and the height of ignorance. :x

But you have to admit Paphitis posts do make good entertainment, even if most of them are ill-informed rubbish or just downright propaganda.?

Robin. the poll was not about Paphitis' right to express his views but whether the views he presents find support amongst the CY F.
I vehemently oppose his diabolical views on Syria and his continued insinuation that somehow he is in charge of events in Syria. The incessant referral of "WE " this and "WE " that is very childish and grossly immature. You can not comment on an event as serious as that of Syria by posting crap.

Milti:

I agree with you but I do not think a poll is really justified. It replicates something I detest about social media ...... 'LIKES' !!!! ..... X boast 3m likes on his FaceBook/Twitter Account. Heaven help us! Who the hell cares except X.

What a bloody moronic way of agreeing ! No wonder each generation of kids is getting less able to hold a conversation or write a letter in reasonable English.

If I agree, then I say so; if I disagree I also say so and invariably explain why. My post are therefore sometimes longer and more detailed than many, I don't deny that, but at least I try to encompass the 'Forum' principal as a place where views and opinions are exchanged.

Robin , everyone on this forum knows that you disagree with Paphitis' views just as much as I do. Have the courage of your conviction. Do you agree or disagree, simple mate, I disagree entirely with views that I consider not only childish but" ChemicalAlied." Most strongly I disagree with views formulated and based entirely on hatred for Putin and Russia. What is this bloody WE and WE and WE, for crying out loud man. We are all just mere observers on Syria. Were not in any way contributing even the slightest to either decision making or demands.Paphitis is a lovely chap, but he has totally lost it on Syria.

I'd be more interested to learn about what 'SPEED' you managed to attain when you legged it out of Cyprus and whether or not you were actually being chased at the time of your speedy departure.

As far as THIS 'Poll' goes, just another of your attempts to discredit the opinions of another respectable member of the forum (beyond your OWN aspirations), even to the extent that you severally resort to 'Plagiarism' to so do, absolutely disgusting behaviour...... (imho)
