Hey so, my son is 17 years old and yesterday he came upon quadricycles and SUPPOSEDLY they can be operated without a B license. He was looking at the Aixam Crossover GTR but because it's considered a HEAVY quadricycle (weights about 450kg and has 20HP) he has to have a B1 license. Now I was looking for info about this and came across the Europa site that stated these vehicles can be driven with that license. Problem is, I looked at cyprusdriving.net and it said that the minimum age is 17.5 with a learners permit, the same for the full B license. Does the European legislation override ours? Can he drive this thing here?
