You are clearly very single minded on the Brexit issue and - if I may add - a bit of an "every silver lining has a cloud" bloke.

Given you're feelings, I think you're doing exactly the right thing and wish you the best of luck in attaining your desire to remain a citizen of the EUSSR.

your cloud will have a lighting strike though. when it hits you will know.

there is no doubt that we have to trade with the eu under wto rules and it will cost a hell of a lot more than the 350 milion a week. but don't worry you will be in control of your borders as much as you were with the rest of the world. and of course the workers rights will go too but that does not matter after all you dont have to work anymore.

Another of life's cheery optimists.

And there was I after 23rd June fully expecting interest rates to soar, mortgage rates to soar, unemployment to soar. The City of London to become a deserted, apocalyptic landscape. East European workers to flood back to their home countries. The pound to go below parity with the mighty Euro, The USA to turn it's back on any trade deal with the UK. And Tim renounce his U.K. Heritage.

Yes, God forgive me for doubting the Project Fear warnings. They all came true. Well, the last did.

DOOMED! DOOMED! I tell you, we are all doomed!

You really do not get it. Nobody said this would happen in one fell swoop the day after the referendum. We are saying that the results will be dire for the UK, if that even holds together, after a so-called 'hard Brexit'; some of the negative effects will be felt more immediately, others will take longer to kick in. We are looking five, ten or twenty years ahead. So, the fact that there was no disaster the day after the referendum when we were still part of the EU proves nothing and certainly does not prove anybody wrong.

How am I renouncing my UK heritage? I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that you are a prize idiot.

Are you forgetting one important aspect?
The patient ( UK ) is still alive , come BREXIT and the shock might just kill the patient.
Petrol up,food up. Inflation up. Stg DOWN and we are still in the EU.
Give it a couple of years and then the patient will be dead and buried !!

Ahh. My apologies. I got the impression that you were "bailing out". Adopting a more appropriate nationality. Now that it seems your EUSSR one is under threat.

It's OK. Do throw out a few insults though, If it eases the pain of being a (bad) loser. I understand.

TBH, I think your fundamental problem is one of "rapidly coming to the conclusion". Get it?

I wouldn't be so quick to start writing any Obituaries.

Britain will end up with the best of both worlds.

AND, it will have unrestricted FTAs with USA, Canada, Australia, India and NZ.

In about 5 years, EU will be eating Britain's dust!

I you are going to retain your UK identity via a UK Passport ...... are you not trying to have your cake and eat it? If you honestly believe the UK is heading for third world status because it is leaving the EU then be a man and cut your ties completely..... make it a 'hard exit'.

And you too, just to reduce the risk of you being a total hypocrite for once, you can solemnly swear that you will never claim Cypriot EU citizenship and perhaps you could also sell your property and pack your bags and leave EU State Cyprus.

I will wave my handkerchief for you.

Yes, and you carry on with your infantile, ad hominem arguments in the attempt to paper over your lack of any substantive arguments.

And we keep being told that THEY need us more than we need them because half of our imports come from Europe, that's true but that figure is only 11% of EU exports whilst the EU takes in 50% of our exports - go figure who will have the most difficult task finding new markets.

The result, 48% to 52% was determined by a minority of racists, I don't accept it, I hope Parliament rejects Brexit.
