how good paid are graphic designers in Cyprus? |

I dont want to disappoint you , but if you don't have something in your mind...I doubt you can find work as graphic designer over there.I really tried so many options and nothing ..

A friend of mine finished here in Cyprus graphic design course.
She tried to find a job, she is Cypriot by the way.
She checked around 20 companies, big, small.
Maximum they could offer her was around 300 pounds
As a result she is not working as a graphic designer |

| Olga, if your friend just finished college and she didn't have any experience or portfolio then finding a good job is not easy. Don't forget that many of the people that finish college are not that good and without a portfolio companies can not know how good they really are. If I was your friend I would take the 300 job for 6 months - 1 year. Then if she was good she could get a raise in that company or get a better paid job somewhere else. |

It all depends on how good you are, the quality of your portfolio, where you have worked before and at what level you can work at.
There are many advertising agencies and graphic companies in Cyprus as well as many companis that have in-house designers.
Basically it all comes down to experience. I know designers that are on £350 a month, I also know designers on £850 a month and more. |

I tried really hard , but maybe with me the situation was a litlle bit difficult cause I m not in Cyprus ,also not in EU ..Eee just have in your mind that Cyprus is not UK regarding our field.But you can find all sites in the net about adds and graphics companies and just to send them your CV and motivatioan letter,try!!! |

by the way english company call me cause had interest but they wanted someone from EU , and also a cyprus company had call me to offer me job - to give borchures in the mail box  )) haha I applied for designer and they said me to come and to go around with the bicycle and put brochures ,so i refused. |
