I am actually highly fluent in German, and I have a reasonable command of six foreign languages and a smattering of a few other. I have lived in quite a few foreign countries in my life, and have always endeavoured to integrate wherever I go, which goes a long way towards explaining why I am not a tiny-minded bigot.

I spent almost 4 years living in what was then West Germany. The same in Cyprus, during the 90s, and have lived here since I retired almost 5 years ago. I also had a home in Morayshire for 20 years, where my kids grew up (as a Cockney, I count that a foreign country. Much more so than Germany or Cyprus - Auslander :) ). Which goes a long way towards explaining why I am not a tiny-minded bigoted, red-necked, moronic - and I am sure one or two other "Ad hominem" insulting terms - person.

You're views are just that. To adopt the high moral ground and pour scathing insults upon all of those who disagee with you explains a lot, if you think about it. Reflect. In reality, you and those who think like yourself are actually the architects of Brexit and Trump. Until you understand that and why, then your uncompromising, progressive liberal ideals are doomed to failure. Please.

Yours truly.

Well spoken, that man. He has articulated my precise thoughts, and I am sure that of millions like me, in a few pithy words. I believe this will happen, too.

So, the sooner we leave, you along with all the Millenial's, can then vote in the next election, defeat all the old fogies, get your country back again, your European Sovereignty, break down the border fence and. immediately adopt the Euro ....... and 'Bingo' you will be REAL Europeans again! You had better start learning some German then!

I believe one of the great gripes little Englanders have is that the UK is full of foreigners who can't speak any English and don't want to learn. Answer the following, please:

Πόσα χρόνια μένεις στην Κύπρο; Έμαθες Ελληνικα; (I apologise if this is not fully correct, but I am doing my best).

There are no "Little Englanders" (a term which I believe goes back to the Boer war). It's Britishness I think. Ask Napoleon, Kaiser Willhelm and Adolph Hitler.

I think your "You had better start learning some German then!" sums things up quite succinctly. Germany totally dominates your beloved EU. Panzers didn't work out but the Euro is doing much better.

You have a habit of ignoring responses which you find awkward Tim. I regard that as a sort of compliment. I don't think your "drivel" thing fools anybody though. Sometimes moronic red-necks can put you on the spot. Perhaps better to appear disdainfully above it all?

In my browser I can just highlight your text, R-click and select “translate this text” and voila…

It wouldn’t be much of a challenge to “prove” that I understand what you’re saying. :)

Shhhhh! I don't think he's sharp enough to know that. By the way, I did write all that myself. Is any of it wrong? I'm sure there are mistakes. Feedback appreciated.

Here's your feedback! Not too bad.

How many years do you live in Cyprus? Blast learned?

Ain’t technology wonderful? Who needs a translator these day? I can now read/write a hundred different languages including Chinese!

I mean - what exactly does any of that prove? That you are a superior member of the Remain camp and I am a dullard Brexiteer? Again - that entirely sums up the substance of the reason why people with your POV lost. We - the intellectually superior ones - know best? Yet you ................and those who think like you ..............still don't seem to get it.
