DVD ratings

Postby Sotos » Sun Jan 08, 2006 12:26 pm

I watch 2-3 DVDs every week. So I thought I will write short reviews and ratings here :P If anybody else wants to post DVD reviews/ratings is welcomed ;) Rating is from 1 worst to 10 best.

Last night I watched Sahara. It is an Adventure with comedy elements. I was somewhat sleepy when I watched it and I fall asleep 2-3 times. I guess the movie was not very interesting to keep me awake. It is ok but nothing very unique. Rating: 4

Wedding Crashers: Comedy. Quite good for its genre with many funny incidents. I didn't mind watching it twice so this is a big plus since I rarely do that. Rating: 7

National Treasure: Adventure. Exaggerated and it feels like a fairy tale, not very realistic. Predictable at times. Some parts of the movie are very good. In general it is ok, pleasant to watch and the DVD has some nice and "secret" features. Rating: 6

I don't know what is wrong exactly. It is supposed to be based on historical facts and reality but then it turns too much fairy like. I guess I didn't like the reality/fairy tale mix of this movie. But it is an OK movie in general. Lets see how the Davinci Code will be that is based on the same "facts".

Were there any facts in either one of them? :)

I do not know why so many people like watching movies but personally I hate them. I have nt watched a single movie for ages - maybe since my chilhood.Seeing how many people nowdays watch movies on a daily basis I find myself in a very uncomfortable situation. Is there anyone else like me or I belong to a tiny minority or am I single exception?
