Are these BB guns legal to own or import in Cyprus?

We have a big roaming ginger tom, testicle's like billiard balls, that knocks the hell out of our very placid female cat and I want to deter it. I don't want to kill it or injure it, just a sting to let it know this is a no-go area for him. Then maybe our cat won't keep returning home with scratches and closed eyes after being attacked.

What type of BB gun are you referring to?

I looked in to importing an AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) that fires plastic bb's but apparently this type of BB gun is illegal.

You can always get one of those basic elastic sling shots from a periptero and fire a cluster of plastic BB's from it.

YOu can also get a super soaker, cats dont like water. If every time it comes in your garden it gets soaked, it wont come back.

Just know though that if one of those plastic BB's hits an animal in the eye you will probably blind it.

Air guns are legal... you can apply for a license if you're over 18, but its illegal to use them in residential areas but I wouldn't worry too much about firing one at a pigeon or a cat because they're hardly audible and probably nobody would notice.
