When the day comes to climb flagpoles (note the plural) be sure to have your dinghy fully inflated and ready to sail because once again I won't be responsible... I'll just be doing my duty.

I want the green line to be demolished and I strongly dislike the TRNC but at the same time I believe in the idea that all Turks from Cyprus to Mongolia should be united under one entity. Does this notion of wanting unification contradict with my pan-nationalist beliefs or does it not. I would like to see Cyprus cooperate with Turkic states in the future. Or do I have to drop one idea for another?

Yes, your beliefs are contradictory. The great majority of Cypriots, and the great majority of Cyprus' history, are Greek, so why would Cyprus be part of any "pan-Turkic" state?? Collaboration with Turkic states, just like collaboration with any other states, is not a problem... but voluntary collaboration is one thing, conquering land that doesn't belong to you to place it under your "Turkic one entity" is a whole another thing. Just because the Ottomans briefly occupied Cyprus and a Turkish minority was created here this doesn't mean that Cyprus is a Turkic country. Do you also claim Greece, Bulgaria, Germany, UK and every other country that a Turkish minority exists? So by all means the Turkic people can unite THEIR OWN lands if they want, but they have no right to invade and occupy lands that do not belong to them.

You should also clarify what you mean by "United Cyprus". Most TCs when they say "United Cyprus" what they truly mean is legalization of the ethnic cleansing and the division of Cyprus with some loose federation so they can have their own separate Turkish state AND be part of EU at the same time. Sorry, but that is way too greedy. TCs should realize that they can't have everything their way. They have to decide if they are Cypriot and European first, and Turkish second, and in this case live along with the rest of Cypriots is a truly united, democratic, European Cyprus, or if they just Turks and they will be helping Turkey in her efforts to take 1/3rd of Cyprus, while they assimilate themselves totally with the rest of Turks and cut their relationship with anything Cypriot and European.

European? A part from being a member of the EU. The only reason Cyprus is considered European is because 50% plus of the population are Christians. If it were 50% plus Moslem you think it would still be European? No.

Right. Cyprus is European, because the native people of Cyprus are European, not just our religion but everything else also. The Greek civilization is the basis of the European and Western civilization... even the word "Europe" has Greek roots.
