Cigarettes

Postby J_Holsworth » Wed Oct 04, 2017 12:27 am

Hi! I quit smoking some years ago, yet still maintain the habit on holidays. I then like smoking the strongest available cigs, just to feel the nicotine buzz again. Does anyone know the brand of the strongest cigs I can find on Cyprus? Going there in two weeks.

Most brands are color-coded… white=menthol, yellow/purple packs are usually the lowest at 1mg and 2mg, blue/others-mid range, and at the other end of the scale are the red at 10mg.

Some brands don’t go by that and just stick to the one brand-color (ie: B&H Gold) so you’ll have to check those individually…. I think the max you’ll find in Cyprus is 12mg unless you can still get the French filter-less Gitanes at 16mg.

NB: Gitanes are very strong and only recommended after a big strong meal like spicy kebabs/Gyros etc!

Price wise they start from about €3.70 p/pack of 20, with most at around 4.50.

I 've quit smoking cigarettes 2 years ago and switched to electronic. I discovered that in fact it's the nicotine that has ALL the effect. The tars included in cigarettes are all carcinogens and have absolutely no effect in pleasure. Nicotine is the only thing, is totally harmless in small doses and has the same zero effect in health as e.g. caffeine.

If you really want to get totally disoriented from nicotine for the whole day try electronic in high nic content.
I tried that only a couple of times just to check what's the maximum I can take. Very bad feeling, my "norma"l is less than half.
You can even reduce the nic content gradually until you vape at almost no nicotine. Best method imo to quit for ever, without much stress. And if you ever want to use some, you can draw a few puffs without guilt and without wanting more.

Btw do you know that big tobacco companies have now introduced heated (instead of burned) cigarettes?
