Hi
Does anyone have any advice on what websites/free software there is available on the net for downloading tunes?
I used to haev Kazaa Lite, but you have to pay for it under subscription.
Also, is it legal? I'm not even sure... |

e-mule and the torrent clients are supposed to be good. If you download for free then it is illegal! Some places will charge you like 50c per song and those are legal but I never tried them since I prefer the free ones I think I-tunes of Apple is something like this. |

| If you are careful and check files, no problem will result. |

http://www.allofmp3.com/
you pay 0.02USD per Mb which is usually 0.6-0.8USD per album and can get thousands of albums in mp3 and also online encoding feature. This means that site has all albums in CD quality and you choose the encoding bitrate as well as one of the codecs - mp3, ogg, etc... The downloading speed is exellent also. Ald also this site is legal, you can check it's license
and if you want to go for free then you can try http://www.torrentportal.com/ and search for music there. Don't forget to dowload only torrents with more then 100% health. Lower health indicates incomplete torrent. |

| Sotos, as I know they got a license for music broadcasting like any FM-radiostation. Anyway, they are more legal then torrents. |
