Concerning:
Gerneral Chat->Nude teacher of Limassol
http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=4338

Isn't posting this picture against forum rules, and a grave violation of the teachers right to privacy? Has the poster obtained the explicit consent of the owner of this image? If not what right does he have to post it?

Apart from a violation of privacy rights, posting an image that one does not own, is also clearly a violation of copyright. I kindly ask the administration to take the appropriate action or face the risk of persecution for facilitating the illegal distribution of such content.

Not necessarily. If she is against this, than yes.

Is there a claimed copyright for this work? I don't think so. If not, than it falls under the "Fairy use" part of the law. My bet would be that posting this image was OK. If the owner is against, she can complain and ask for the image to be removed.

Hello,

Thank you for your concern bg_turk.

That image is not hosted on our server and it does not violate any of our current rules. I also believe that linking to that image does not violate any laws.

Thanks

could as well have been. If you do not accept such a think to be done to your sister you should not accept it for any lady.

While the kid who stole pictures from the mobile phone was surely guilty, the teacher herself isn't completely innocent. Sensitive materials should be properly protected - encrypted, and with the password. While this does not guarantee that they will never be stolen and published, it helps against kiddies. If you want your privacy to remain intact, you should be the one protecting it. Relying on others, imho, is wrong in this matter.

I, for one, don't give a damn about my privacy. I have nothing to hide. Smile

Hehe Smile

Well, actually that's a strategy of mine. You see, if you are trying to hide something, then people will go out of their ways to find it. On the other hand, if you show them that you don't have anything to hide, they lose interest pretty soon. And the best part is - they never check back again. They just remember you as - that guy/chick that has nothing to hide. Smile
