Lets not forget that a cypriot nation's people would benefit from everything thats good in turkish, greek, british etc. history and our children will reap the benefits for generations to come.
Also let me mention that as a child i lived in limassol were my parents had a restaurant, i was there till 1974 and i was six years old and my first language was greek, even though my parents spoke turkish my enviroment ensured my first language was greek which my parents had no problem with.
As in the U.K most kids first language is english then .......... |

Language, relegion etc don't matter my friend. My grandpas first language was Turkish, because he grew up in Lefke. Everytime I see Denktash he reminds me of my grandpa... What unites us as Cypriots is our mentality and our facial looks. Those who say that we are "Greek" know very well that our mentality differs from the mainland Greeks, the same way your mentality differs from the mainland Turks.
The word "Kalamarades" is often used the same way you use the word "Yurukies". |

| Very true we are different from mainland people and yes religion, language should be no barrier for us i was trying to say that speaking different language is no problem and i was proud to be able to speak greek one of our cypriot languages. |
