restrictions on editting

Postby bg_turk » Fri Jan 27, 2006 11:36 pm

I recently noticed that there are restrictions on editting posts.

Sometimes immediately after I make a post I need to make corrections to my posts but for some reason I cannot do that. In the end I end up wasting a lot of time.

Also I do not understand the action taken by the administration not to allow editting posts after a certain time limit. Sometimes I need to copy the contents of my posts in the as i typed them in but I can no longer do that.

Can the adminsitration lift all restrictions on editing?

You might have to wait for less than a minute. Best practice is to click on the "preview" button to make sure everything is ok with your post before you press the submit button.
If this is a big problem I can change it so you will not have to wait to edit posts.

This is a diferent case from the above. The threads have a certain flow and idealy posts should not be modified after other members have replied. I understand that this can have some disadvantages but we will have to deal with them.
