Are there some nice cafes and bars, where you would go out alone without feeling unpleasant?
As I come to Cyprus alone next week, i would like to know, where i can meet interesting people. |

Kenneth - Maximillians bar on Dhekelia road makes everyone feel welcome. I go there often to watch football and have a beer. |

hm...irish pubs usually attract people who are alone,,,,,i have seen several people going to irish pubs alone eg. city pride....i dont know what the chances are of meeting people but you can certainly enjoy a drink there.
i work for 2 days a week in larnaka, i usually spend my lunch time in a fast food restaurant (mc donalds, everest etc) and then i sleep in the car until i start working again...its boring but what can i do? |

In Kato Paphos there is one cafe- bar called Pinguino in the tourist area opposite Pizza Hut and KFC. This is quite good and has good music.
Regarding pubs I have not been to a good one yet although there are plenty in this area. At this time of the year pubs are not as full as they are in summer time.I remember I went to an Irish pub in Paphos and the pub was empty so I ended up drinking beer alone! |

| Nah, just pop-in to any place/bar you like going and forget the rest. Personally I don't mind going out alone if none of my mates is in a mood to go out. |
