Anyone know anywhere around Limassol area that plays drum n bass? I just moved out here from UK and used to go to all the big clubs in London. Now i miss it all cuz the nightlife here is nothin of what London is.
I am a dnb producer also and used to DJ in the UK, if anyone knows anyone that can help me to get my DJ career going over here or anyone into drum n bass here?

| I think Abyss was the only club in Napa that played Drum and Bass...and that was not often. If anything, try and contact them...or try and create a Cypriot D&B scene...Cyprus is a small place and wont be hard. If they can get into trance dont see why they couldnt get into d&b. |

Yea i been to Napa and its bit of a ghost town really. Used to be big in the garage days. I thought i might have a hard time lookin for dnb. I know quite a few locals young, old & from the bases so maybe they can help.
I am planning on trying to get the scene going here all i need is to get it played & then i wil know if the ppl like it.

Bro,
I myself only listen to dnb. My neighbours bloody hate me for it.
DnB is absolutely non existant over here. In the past 1.5years the only show CY has had was Skiba & Brockie....which admitedly rocked (even though they are not really my style).
Kids here love Trance because it is all about the big names. The whole trendy gimp thing I guess..... But hey, it's worth a shot.... I would love to see a small scene here for us heads.

I used to be into trance/house and even happy hardcore/hardhouse etc i know most of the scenes as i been brought up in them. I know what u mean with all the big name dj's as all the trance djs are all well known like Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk etc or some more old skool like Carl Cox, which i think is the best dj in the world.
Many of the bars/pubs etc are playing trance that was out like 6 years ago when the whole 'Ibiza' thing was cool. I went in and heard all these classics, although it was nice to hear them again it made me feel like i was in a time warp and the dj was pretty poor but no1 noticed cuz everyone looked wrecked anyway.

| I think if you want to play Drum and Bass...the best city for that is Larnaca...simply because that is the place were most Cypriots from the UK repatriate too. |
