Being based in Oz I'm a sport nut (except for golf and darts which pack fudge).

Are there any up and coming Cypriot Athletes we should be looking out for, apart from Marcos?

Kyriacos Ioannou of Cyprus, the current Mediterranean Games champion, finished third in a NR 2.30m. The slender 21-year-old will soon turn his attention away from the indoor season to begin preparations for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in mid-March.

he should do OK in Melbourne I'll tell the Sth Melbourne Hellas Supporters to give him some love.
