My mate reckons Jason Koumas who plays for Wales is half Cypriot.

Does any one know for sure?

Thanks MS....1/16 Cypriot is enough to make him liable for military service.

He better not visit Cyprus without being a semi finalist in a grand slam

Well at the time Koumas opted for Wales, they still had a few big names playing for them like Ryan Giggs, Mark Hughes...no more spring to mind so they couldnt have been too big lol....but a few years ago, even when Wales werent doing much (like now), they had some well known Premiership players in their side. End of the day, he was brought up in Wales and probably didnt have much Cypriot culture around him.

Dont matter, he isnt that great...was a good prospect at one time but thats it...think he's barely gets in the West Brom team (thats if he is still playing for them).

Yeah I was surprised when Cyprus played Wales and Ireland a little while ago, for once Cyprus looked organised and dangerous at times. All it takes is a generation of half decent players to come through, maybe 3-4...and Cyprus could upset a few teams. I remember seeing Cyprus in the past and was disgusted how little effort the players put in.
