JCC should be investigated by Antimonopoly Comission.
To integrate JCC payment for many of my clients online they had to have 10.000 deposit in the bank, top of the notch quaity site, 100s pages of manuals, blah blah blah... approvals, 3 month money returs, high % comisson etc... its just not worth it. And here u go: they've made their own.

Look at the state of that website, what kind of quality is that? I mean, it does work but they just couldnt let anyone else do it. Probably is another case of "KOUMBARISMO" with JCC owners and government.

At least some people got to the payment section. I have registered online on Friday 19/01/2007 at 16:00. It is now Saturday 20th Jan 2007 and I have not yet received my registration details. Does anyone know how long this automated service takes to send the e-mail back informing of the login details so that I can actually go further and register my vehicles for road tax? :?

raymanuva, I agree with your comments but am a little confused with the 'KOUMBARISMO' bit, where does that expression originate please?. :?:

It says on the site that you can print off your own road tax disc. I got as far as the renewal date which only gave the option to the end of Dec 2008. As mine runs out then, there is no sign of how to renew to the end of 2009. Maybe it will appear after the end of this December by which time my road tax will have expired!

It says you can now print your road tax disc yourself.

The government web site is in my view very efficient, if not user friendly. I have just renewed my road tax on-line and printed out a new tax disc. A much easier process than in the UK. In terms of duration there is a dropdown box which gives you choice of 6 months or 12 months. Payment can be either with a Debit Card or Credit Card; payment is instantaneous and your Records are immediately updated. I did all of the above today a Sunday and my Records were updated instntly. Records are kept at www.rtd.mcw.gov.cy, but you have to register on the system to gain access. Records show vehicle and owner details; vehicle details include roadtax and MOT expiry dates, amounts paid, amounts outstanding etc.

I tried to pay online and you were supposed to be able to print off your own disc, which is what they do at the bank anyway. However, it twice refused my debit card and rather than find myself paying thrice, I gave in and went to the Co-op bank. Sorry they said, cash only. I went to my own bank and got the cash. Called into another Co-op and sorry the computer was down. Went back to the original branch to find they were closing the door in my face at 12.30am. Gave up for the day again. Next visit, armed with everything I could think of, they took the payment at the Co-Op bank and printed my tax disc there and then. Difficult? I should say!

We (Webbo) pays our road tax on-line and has never had a problem with any part of the process! :)
