Hi all,

Kokona, in response to your question: I'm from Paphos.

I haven't been back in too long. I'd like to go to Cyprus at the end of this Semester.

Hey brother,

Kokona is a cute and loving term that Greeks in Cyprus use to say Girl. My mom always called me that :D

Sorry for the delayed response...had college work up to my ears...

Gm1,

I'm studying Biology (as of now) however things change. Hopefully i won't end up taking all my requirements for my Bio major and then CHANGING it my senior year!! (o...the stories i've heard). The advisers up here don't help much either. Who really ever does know what they're going to do for the rest of their lives??? Well, it's my second year living away from home...and at least this part is great : )

So what have you studied?

Georgia,

When you say you're going to Cyprus by the end of the semester do you mean during Dec/Jan or during May/Jun??

Hi Kokona,

I'm studying Pharmacy at university. In Australia, we have the end of the second semester during late November, and so have the summer off until early March.

I guess college is like university, but we enter into our courses straight from high school. I gather it is done slightly differently in the U.S.

I haven't actually been to Cyprus since I was a year old. I'd REALLY like to go in January.

Hi to all :)

The word "kokona" reminded me that my granny and aunt use this word to define the flamboyant old ladies...

I'm a Cypriot, born in Larnaca/Alaminos but have been living in Istanbul since 1986 because of the economical reasons.

Girls, why don't you also join us in politics discussions? I'd like to hear some Cypriot girls opinions concerning Cyprus problem.

Regards :)
