You solicitor must get the developer/nominated representative to sign the contract in your presence & have all the signatures witnessed.

Hi JB
In that case your cypriot lawyer can go to the developer and get him to sign first, with witnesses, undated. Then he sends the contract for you to sign from the UKwith witnesses, adding the date. You send it back and he registers at the Land Reg, sendind a copy to the developer. Need to use couriers like DHL,FEDEX etc., Works OK.

We have bought in Cyprus more than once, and as my solicitor has 'power of attorney' (sp?) then surely he can sign it for me? |
