Hia off to live in Cyprus as you know in two days all was well till I met a ex pat in Peterborough at weekend who lives in Limmosol, the plan was to live in the Paphos area and find work (plumbing or such ) great, till he told me how expensive Cyprus is now and Paphos property is much more expensive than rest of Cyprus and is a ghost town in winter and I should look at Limmosol area where work is easier to find and its buzzing all year round,we will be renting for a few months before we buy.

Eric, just come out and see for yourself – everybody has a different perception of what each place is like – ‘ghost town’ is nowhere near reality...

Paphos is not ghost town in winter. Only Ayia Napa is. Paphos has more British expats and it is a small town. Limassol is much bigger and in a more central location with all other cities less than an hour away.
