well there you have it folks...

people seek a mate , a friend , a wife , a boyfriend , a girlfriend , a lover , a mistress , and so many other things... whileas we have a wing seeker here...

In terms of human relation I believe a wing is as said a support column of some kind. But I dont think he is quite looking for that.. I think he wants to expand his public image and in the case that other benefits come along...might even welcome them too..
