All I have read everywhere is: hundreds. I never seen an actual figure anywhere. Sorry.

i find it quite strange how no one knows the number of deaths of Turkish Cypriots for all we know it could only have been 50 or 100 could have died i mean if all those hundreds of turkish Cypriots supposedly died why no figues or evidence ? i dont think that hundreds of TC's died before 1974 i think it must be under a hundred and turk Cypriots are exagerating the numbers for there proganda to make themselfs the big victims and to keep cyprus divided

My point to you was that i do have an interest in Cyprus and what happens is very much "my business". I don't direct my posts in a provocative or insulting manner, if I have done so in the past, un intentionally, i didn't and don't have a problem in apologising for that.

Just one other thing GC Gurl. I do deal with both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots in the line of business i am in ( dont ask what it is as thats not up for discussion).

You see the difference between you and the majority of people not only in Cyprus, bit the rest of the world, is that they see people as people regardless of colour, race or creed.

Finally, for the record, I do have a house built on what used to be "Greek Cypriot" owned land. But dont jump to the wrong conclusion about that. All i can tell you is, that mine is legal and my conscience is clear, and i can sleep at night.

Of course it’s an exaggeration. Turks try to hide their heinous crimes by accusing Greeks of the same thing. That “attack is the best form of defence”, ploy, it’s pathetic. Only Turks and apologist for Turks believe it.

It would be better that you went north and then maybe east, for a couple of thousand miles. Amusing to hear a squatter tell me that I am not welcome in my own country? I wonder how times you have come to sponge off the R.O.C.
