Moving to live in Cyprus

Postby Campbell_B » Thu Jun 01, 2006 6:57 pm

I'm looking to move the family over to cyprus and have a mountain of question, i would appreciate any answers from forum members, expats etc. I'll keep my first list short, lol

1) Im looking to import my M3 convert, any taxes to pay, is this a simple process? Any idea of costs to ship?

2) My trade is Air Conditioning, presently i have my own small firm, is there much work in this industry? Need a job eventually i suppose.

3) What are the cyprus income tax brakets Ni if applicable etc??

4) Is there BMW main dealers in Cyprus?

5) What is the schooling like? International schools? etc, i have a 2 very young daughters ready for school in 2 years time.

Thanks in advance

cambpell_ b , welcome to the forum , I'm sure that you and your family are making the right decision in coming to to Cyprus , I'm sure some forum members are more conversant with the points you raised , as far BMW dealers , Cyprus is full of them .
Schooling is an area I know a little about since I have relatives as teachers in the American Academy in Limassol and Paphos. I know that the standards of education are some how higher that those in the average UK school.
Best of Luck
