WHO IS GARY ROBB ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby unique_earthling » Fri Jun 23, 2006 4:08 pm

Again you judge, i am amazed at how you automatically throw these assasinatory remarks around.. who said we were pro occupation??? And why do you assume we all live in the North, your blinded by your bitterness and hate. I think the best thing for me to do is ignor you and if others did the same you would soon get tired of your rantings not being replied too, so bye wont be enticed anymore into your histrionics.

When I joined this forum I thought it would be an aid to finding out what the ins and outs of purchasing property (legally) and living the remainder of my natural in the lovely 'peaceful' island of Cyprus.

Yes, I made the decision to look in the North for property, not because I am a greedy land grabbing investor, but it is all I can really afford, being a normal working class lad who happened to save his money and wants to enjoy the fruits of his labours. I have no axe to grind with anyone on here or wish to upset anyone in particular but………..

I have obviously been following a number of threads on here and all I hear on this forum is the psychotic ranting of this person called Lysi! About him/her wanting her/his land back...... why? surely it has been so long now that everyone that moved North and Vice Versa must be settled where they are, and really wouldn’t wish to be uprooted, particulary from the South to the North.....

I believe most of this ranting and gnashing of teeth about Occupied forces and stealing of land is probably motivated by the fact that the land is being developed and people are making money and she/he wants piece!!!

I am also wondering how far back he/she can trace her ancestry to actually prove that her/his family didn’t take the land by force in the first place!!! and even if they bought it how did the people they bought it off aquire it?? now wrangle with that little conundrum!!!!!!

After all...who really owns land? The person(s) who got their first with the biggest army I suppose. Our own royal family who are much admired, only got where they are by being their first and having the biggest army to take what they wanted!!! and get this…………there ancestry is German and Greek for god sake ..………………….do you see us ranting and raving!!!!

Lysi

Do you think sitting on your computer insulting other users of the forum will get your land back?

If you think so then good luck.

How would you feel if somebody was raping your wife or daughter and then said: "I could not afford a whore"?

Cut the lame excuses please. The north of our country is illegally occupied by Turkey and you have NO RIGHT and it will be ILLEGAL if you "buy" Greek Cypriot property in the occupied areas. What I tell you now is a FACT beyond any doubt.

You know the law about GC properties, just like you know the law about rapes, murders etc. If you still decide to be criminal then nobody can stop you. Go to some courts and you will see that all criminals have some, usually lame, excuses to give for the reasons the committed their crimes.

Therefore keep the excuses for yourself. We don't care about them. Just remember that such action is illegal, and that all criminals think they will get away with it when they commit a crime.

We will make sure that the criminals that "buy" stolen land will be punished in one way or another.

Whatever you accuse Lysi of being you are a hundred times worse if you are going to come and add salt to the injury. Of course people want to return to their homes! People on both sides have that hope and they should. I am always against the way Lysi attacks the British because 99% of them are good people. But i see now that the 1% you are a part of is what makes them look bad. I am sure that if someone came to your house and threw you out you would just move into a new house and forget all about it and say oh that was land anyway and no one owns land and he has more guns than me so now its his. Get real.

Where the hell does Piratis comes up with these analogies, other than pushing his propaganda views again. He could have said to "perecles", look, if you can't afford to stay in a 5 star hotel, then stay at a hostel instead. If "perecles" is foolish enough to buy GC's property, in due time, he will regret it, if and when PappaD gets off his ass to finding a solution, to get the people back to their homes. Then again, I wonder sometimes, whether PappaD would have a job if there were to be a settlement. Perhaps he is looking after his interest more than his citizens. Who ever said, that you can trust your representatives.

Perecles' statement is interesting in that it is symptomatic of the arguments submitted by those who wish to rationalize their purchase of stolen property in the occupied zone. There's no denial of the illegality or even of the immorality of buying land that doesn't belong to the seller. The rationale is that "it's ok because it's all I can afford", or "only a fool would look a gift horse in the mouth".
I'm also a normal working-class lad and I just chose to save up a bit longer until I could afford an above-board purchase in the south. If it would have been too dear for me I would have managed without. Nor would I buy a stolen car or a TV that fell off a lorry because "it's all I can afford". But then it takes all sorts....
