Hi Anastacia.

On a Sunday there is a large outdoor market on the Dhekelia Rd. Its huuuuuuge so you'll find what you need there. There is also a large warehouse in Oroklini on a weekend, mainly dealing in housewares if you are interested in that sort of stuff.

Antique shop behind Ayios Lazarus church Larnaca has some interesting stuff, not as cheap as when it was a disordered 'real' junk shop but still worth a look. Another on a corner of Grigori Afxentiou Larnaca, going out of the town from the police station to the fire station, sixth set of traffic lights on the right. Sells everything from old motorcycles to hat pins!
The Larnaca Thrift shop sometimes has a few gems, its off Faneromeni Avenue coming from Faneromeni church (two churches now) keep heading away from the town and take the last exit off the first (only) roundabout, keep going until you hit the speed humps and its on the right.
Plus the four or five charity shops in Larnaca town are worth a browse for odds and ends.

Best buy in Cyprus? fireplaces from the British colonial period, pick them up for around CYP20/50, surface ship to the UK and sell for UKP600+, broke my heart when I first saw them being carted away to landfill sites

Yes, the old market that was there is now the carpark for the new market which has moved a few hundred metres. Its now a hell of a lot bigger.

Occasionally they have boot sales at the Dhekelia base. Don't know when next one is, but they advertise in Cyprus Weekly.

Hi Anastasia, I've been in Cyprus for nearly 2 years now. Never owned a video shop. My real name is George.
