Majority of Greek Cypriots favour vetoing Turkey's EU bid

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What if Turkey....... returns the city of Famagusta to the UN administration, instead of recognizing the RoC? Could this, be THE TRADE-OFF, to avoid the "veto"?

No chance. Papadopoulos will not "veto" and he is slowly but steadily playing down this "card". The "simerini" newspaper, owned by Hadjicostis, is a hard line paper, which, along with its radio station, has started a campaign similar to the one it undertook prior to April 2004, to influence Papadopoulos towards using "veto" according to his earlier promises.

I believe Papadopoulos will settle for some sort of recognition of Customs Union by Turkey and this will help him to save face because many will feel that he let them down.
