| Considering that we haven't had a squeak from Sin.Cyprus in such a long time........ I'm wondering weather his f-16 didn't take a nose dive in the med!! |

hey i got another idea
why dont we take all the legally owned TC land combined and give it to you all in one place so you can make your own little country. then we can have all the cypriots with dual nationality buy that joke of a country (cause greek cypriots wont be allowed to) piece by piece and then let it rot. how's that.
hell, we can even build the great wall of cyprus, and have a humongus cyprus flag on your side so you can see it every time you wake up in the morning

| as a cypriot i think all the arguments so far regarding the solution of cyprus i read here are a waste fo time how dare anyone here regard themselves turkish or greek when they are from cyprus what a tragedy''''''''''' if only those who think themselves turkish and greek would piss off to turkey and greece and leave us alone leave cyprus problem solved if you love your respective mother lands that much please leave cyprus and live there |

my_cyprus, I agree with you that Cyprus is for Cypriots and all the rest should piss off.
However do you think it is required to oppress the history of our people in order to create a strong Cypriot identity? I think it would be much better if all Cypriots simply learned to respect the differences of the others. We don't need to become exactly the same in order to get along. |

Hi Pirates, I have to say I think I agree...Why can't we just be proud of being 'Greek Cypriot/ Turkish Cypriot'? I as a Greek Cypriot have many things in common with other Greeks as well as with the Turkish Cypriots, two things that I am very proud of...
I think that calling Greek Cypriots, that are proud of their Greek heritage (as well as their Cypriot heritage) nationalists, is not really very fair....we can't deny what we are...
