Hylatio is the place on the beach isn’t it?

A bit basic but…

About two minutes walk from the beach
Close to shops, restaurants and car hire facilities
Has its own pool, bar and tennis courts

Bring chemical weapons against mosquitoes if you are prone to attack or you can buy them here – the local pharmacy is excellent and can provide all sorts of chemical wizardry.

PS Book The Vineleaf for Cyprus Night on Friday evening – it is just across the road and is a wonderful dance/music/food event.

Hi Jon,

Take a look at: http://www.hylatio.com/ for more information.

Hylatio has been a favourite with a couple of my former colleagues who visit the island regularly. I've not been there for a year or so, but I think there was some development going on behind the complex when I was last there.

Watch out for the barman - he's a bit of a magician - you'll see what I mean when you get there.

It's the wrong time of year for mosquitoes, but there are some other small biting insects we call 'noseeums' - best to take some sort of spray.

Enjoy your hols.

Compared to bigger towns (Paphos etc) Pissouri is much cheaper. Large beer £1.50 CYP in Paphos small beer is £1.80 CYP

great place to visit-for adults.
only saw one family with kids when i went last-although i was mid september and kids should have been at school anyway!
not really aimed at family entertainment so you may be busy entertaining
your kids.
i would think Coral bay would be more suitable for you.

For car hire travel insurance etc try www.travelsupermarket.com. It gives you a price for a list of companies providing car hire travel insurance etc. I got family travel insurance for 16 pound. Also got car hire for 258 for two weeks 23/8/06-6/9/06(astra).

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the pool at the Hylatio resort is open to non residents. My parents stayed there and I used the pool then, no-one seemed bothered that we were'nt staying there.

Thanks
