I think that you are dealing with a typical male player. They all like the chase because it excites them. Once they got you you are not as interesting anymore. Cypriot men can be bad about things but to me he sounds a bit extreme. |

| I am not saying they are bad, but that they do not make good life companions. I like my men to be emotionally intelligent, someone who is willing to learn about himself and is not egotistical or have low self esteem.. A reasonable communicator, home loving and who is able to care about others and animals. Someone who realises that its not all about how much money they make but about giving themselves to their partner and children, gentle, supportive and liking and sharing similar activities, a commonality, similarity in intellect. I like someone who takes an interest in the home, enjoys DIY, walks and nature. Not a gambler or someone that gets bored or has a desire for cabarets or other cheap thrills. equal partners in all things... |
OK Ok I agree that every woman wants that.
But how many get it?? Is all the above something that you can say a certain race of man can provide? English? Italian? Your sescription is a little fairy tale like. |

I think that you are dismissing all Cypriot men because of the ones that you have met and that is not fair. I am sure that there is a pretty reasonable percentage that is everything a woman can want and more. |

I think you are right and it's probably best that I bale out of contact with him now before I get in any further! And I thank everyone for their comments. I'm sure there are thousands of lovely caring romantic Cypriot men out there (for 3 months he would have given them all a run for their money) but it's a shame you have to find out the 'real' them after a while...it seems like a waste of both of our time.

| She isn't asking for a saint! Sounds like a down-to-earth person, that's all. As they say, common sense ain't that common. |
