my first question is about the size of Cyprus.
how big is it compared to the USA? is it the size of NJ? Texas? California? pick a state, any state.....(50 to chose from) :D

also, do i need a special drivers license to rent a car there?

why would he say no if he is your boyfriend? And you do not need his permission to go on holiday!

Are you sure he is still your boyfriend ?. Distance suppose to grow hearts fonder, and he sounds like, that's the way he want's to keep it, from a distance, if he doesn't want for you to come to Cyprus.

he moved away. i live in ny, he now lives in CY. that kinda means he's not my boyfriend anymore. besides, i am told they cypriots like to marry thier own kind. and he doesn't want to marry me. although i may have a nose like a greek, it's the only bone in my body that is greek. (LOL)
i still don't understand that thing about marrying your own kind. in NY, we are so culturally diverse... i was once married to a colombian... my dad is white and married to a black, i just don't understand why like has to marry like. i am so ready to move to CY if that's what it takes to stay with this guy, i would love to embrace the culture, but he won't have me. :?
