Sorry to do this but I've tried most other things and don't know what to try next.

I am searching for an old friend called Vitaly (Vitalli) V Kouzieav. I last spoke to him in 1999, at that time he was 18 years old and studying in Cyprus. I have tried searching the 'net, searching the online phone books with no success so now I'm trying through people power!

If anyone knows of his whereabouts or what happened to him please, please get in touch with me via [email protected] or reply here. Or if anyone has any other idea's of what I could try next, that'd be great!

No, I'm not really into frogs legs these days and he did used to be yummy enough to eat!

I used to use this name when we chatted on Yahoo! so thought I'd sign up using it "just incase".... Somehow I'm beginning to wonder if I will actually find him. He travelled around a bit so I doubt he's still in Cyprus these days.

Ho-hum... I'm still trying to convince the Hubby to take me on holiday over there - looks lovely!!!! I've wanted to go for years but have never convinced him so far...

You know I was actually seriousely contemplating coming on my own... We've got four young boys and I swear I wouldn't mind a break!!!

He's from Russia but travelled to America to study and then onto Cyprus (Nicossia if memory serves right) to complete his studies. I can't remember where or what he was studying though, sorry. He wasn't working last time I heard from him. He's tall and thin with short dark hair and he'd be about 25 possibly 26 now.

He only had a mobile phone last time I spoke to him (in 1999 so you can tell it was a long time ago!), although I did try checking the phone directory earlier. The really annoying thing is I have his details on my old Yahoo account, but can't remember my password or the details I need to be able to get a new password sent to me - yeah I may have auburn hair now but you can tell I was born a blonde can't you?!!!!

The chances are he's probably not in Cyprus anymore, but I thought I'd give it a go just incase, plus it gives me an excuse to revisit the Cyprus thing with the Hubby!!!

What are the best read newspapers over there? I may put an ad in asking for more info if I can't find him... Someone, somewhere will know of him I'm sure!
