RoCs EU accession and rest of the story so far...

There you can read the official arguments about the RoC's EU accession which to me it seems the constitution of RoC hasn't been violated by RoC regarding the issue...

Another well known fact is that it was Greece who led Cyprus to EU....
The question here is why did RoC want to join EU? Everyone knows why...

1- Security reasons: Fear of "Turkish invasion."

2- Finding a "European Solution" to Cyprus problem...

One may say the fear of "Turkish invasion" is a funny idea and unfounded... And some may say a "Eoropean Solution" how GC side dream of is impossible but who cares? The Greeks and GCs have been struggling what they believe is right for themselves... Furthermore, they occasionally add that this will also be the liberation of TCs but who believes? Turkey and TCs also have been struggling for what they believe is right for themselves... This is the whole story in my opinion...

There have been always remarkable points in this story of struggling...

a) Nationalist, extremist, trickster struggling policies within both sides that always have caused the situations to go worse e.g armed struggle of underground organizations and the support, financial aid provided them by official authorities, cadres, businessmen on the other hand the same sirs pretended that they they were working for a fairer, more functional Cyprus etc... importing 10 thousands of settlers, pretending that the aim is a just, viable, bi-zonal, bi-communal unification but wishing something else etc...

b) Official, legal, rational struggling policies within both sides that has been rarely seen throughout the Turco-Greco/TC-GC relations so far...

This is the question we should ask ourselves give the right answer and form a third party in order to watch every step have been taken by the main local actors of the Cyprus problem and then pressurize them to take official, legal, rational steps for a just, viable, stable solution to the Cyprus problem..

Who is the 3rd party?

Civil initiatives, mass media and NGOs ... but unfortunately in Cyprus they mostly are under influence or symphatizer of two main ,local actors of Cyprus problem... The rest who helplessly has become a minority within the 3rd party have been doing their job perfectly but as a consequence of lack of support; they can't create the needed pressure power to eliminate the nationalist, extremist, trickster, irrational struggling policies of two local main actors of Cyprus problem that are known to create more problems and new impasses for us...

I wonder what do you think about the 3rd party? Do they really do their jobs adequately? What is their role in Cyprus problem? What are their accomplishments and failures?
