take the pissouri - alektora turning off the A6, go left.
at the bottom you see rantzo, turn right.
after maybe 800 meters opposite the police station turn left.
go up the hill keeping left until you hit the village.
then go and get drunk!! with everybody else!

i think it was the last one last week, or maybe thats this week anyway it ends soon for this year

I remember Pissouri beach when the only building was a ruin and it was accessed only along a rather rough track.

Not a bad beach but nothing compared to some in the north.

A friend of mine says that a hangover is a ‘receipt’ for the good time you had the night before. He says that without the ‘receipt’ you’d soon forget what a great time you had…

Well I have the hugest ‘receipt’ today and I’d be quite happy to forget all about last night’s merriment.

Hell everyone :D

My first posting so here goes,

we are visiting cyprus in July for 2 glorious weeks. we would love to visit Pissouri for the Wednesday Cyprus night so would appreciate some advice.

Which taverna would you recommend for a typical cypriot meal and to see the best of the entertainment? Also is booking for a table needed?
Does anyone have the recommended tavernas telephone numbers?

How far by car is Pissouri from Platres in the Troodos mountains?

Would appreciate any info

Thanks, Maria
