I know a person who discredits the selfish gene theory, she insists she could die and go to hell for me. Oh wait, she is my mother...

you have my full respect kifeas.
unlike the dissapointment in the press and the cypriot society concerning the current attitudes, of the our bishops , you insisted and found only good things to say about them.
concerning what we hear this last weeks, oyu really must have put an effort on that sentence

apparently you care more about the image of the cypriot church than the priests themselves

Nikiforos admitted publicly on his TV speech that his adminsitartion had invested and gained millions on the Cyprus Stock Exchange Crash 6 years ago! He went further and added that the money gained have been used only for the Church welfare and for the poor.

Church one of the biggest Investment Institution in Cyprus!

Averall he left a good impression!

maybe yes! The next time I will see a guy asking money for charity I will ask him to go to the church! What are all these funds of the church accumulated for?
