| Zan, I liked the explanation you gave from an evolutionary point of view. It could be part of the diversity trick nature plays in order to ensure the perpetuation of species. However, you do realise that this excuse can be used to explain (and excuse) almost anything. |
Don't know what is happening but this is another post I missed untill today. You are quite right in saying that Bananiot. |

Omg lol how did I miss this one?
In my opinion the people who claim gayness as "unnatural" are judging nature as defined by religion. In reality homosexuality has existed forever and ever. There are approx 1500 species of animals who have and some of which prefer to have sex with their own gender. There are monkeys whos anatomy is pro-gay. These particular monkeys can retract their penis in order to form a cavity for another male to penetrate. There are even some species of animals where being gay carries an evolutionary advantage ie:dolphins.
Its people who just go on and on about procreation that get me so frustrated. Heterosexual people themselves use sex for anything but that purpose so I dont really understand why they must discriminate. Come on now, out of the amount of times you guys have had sex, how many times have you done so to procreate?
I personally find that most people dont really have a problem with gay people but with extreme camp behaviour. I think this is what people find more difficult to accept. I'm masculine and no one would ever question my sexuality, people are always shocked when I tell them. I've been out for some time and have had no problem with coming out to anyone, all my friends who before were soooo homophobic have no problem with me and our friendships hasnt changed not one bit.
People tend to discriminate against people because they are different. Look at that Indian woman on big brother. They discriminated against her because she was different and she spoke differently. Its the same with gay people. If a gay person acts like a girl then he has less chance of being accepted then a gay person who acts like everybody else and fits in. |

Hey Mate,
Kinda new to this type of forum but you know the ppl who discriminate on here are just those who dont understand. I really dont like the camp style of gay ppl either. You are who you are so there is really now need to act in a style that everyone assosiates with being gay because the truth is that most gay ppl are not camp.
No one chooses who to fall for but if ya happy who really cares if its a guy or a girl. I have a good number of friends who are hetrosexuals but they dont treat me any different for being homosxual as it just doesnt matter to them. We still do all the things everyone else does. Just now, if I go out with a girly friend we can both compare the arses on a cute guy lol
All seriousness if ya care enough about what other ppl are thinking you'll never get through life. Take it from me, other ppl's oppinions are not worth listening to if their not going to take the time to really know you.
Have a great day ppl, |

| being gay is a sexual preference and has nothing to do with parenthood. a gay person can be a an excellent parent regardless of his/her sexuality. |

i read somewhere donkeys years ago, that a tiny area of the brain, just behind the ear, is smaller in gay people, and its inbetween the male and female brain area.
i am not sure if this is correct or not, as i haven't followed it up.
again sexuality preference has nothing to do with parenting. |
