HI I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM

Looking for friends? For a boyfriend/girlfriend? Lover? Pen-pal?

Hi Mick and thanks very much for the information re the two schools. The primary school
I attended was situated in the centre of Limassol and it was a really good school, in
fact both schools were excellent. I still remember the names of some of my teachers from
both schools (oh happy days!) but yes you've guessed correctly, I did live in Cyprus pre
1974 when things were a little different back in Cyprus during those days.

Berengaria I remember very well, in fact my father used to drive my sister and I to the
Berengari cinema on some weekends, it all seems like such a long time ago now. Do you
remember the old Britania restaurant? It was an old family haunt, in fact we'd go and
eat there most weekends and it was always filled with RAF families. We had some great
evenings in there. I was just wondering if that's still standing?

Oh and happy retirement to you. :)

Hi andri and thanks for the welcome. My mother and father used to work at RAF Episkopi,
so I know it well. :)

It seems to me that there are many on here who would describe those events an awful lot worse than micktreviss did ;)

Which uni are you studying at Lena?

What concerns me in that thread, is if the guy concerned also didn't realise I was joking!

People had already given him good advice about how to meet someone, which is to meet them as a friend first and then see what happens. That's how I met my last girlfriend and we were together for nearly 8 years, so I must've been doing something right!!!

(And BTW I would say 'girl' rather than 'woman' is not offensive in the UK, a bit like 'girlfriend' can still be used at any age).

Anyways...

... an MA in what?

Then next time you will be in a mood to give advice please do it seriously...yes you are right sometimes is better to look for a friendly company than for a sexual attraction. I didnt say that its offensive! I just said that its better if he want a girlfriend to start from that part. What I mean is that he must have in his mind that he has to talk to a woman, a lady and be serious with her. And I dont mean not to laugh or make her laugh, I mean not to react as an idiot. I dont Know if you get my point. . . MA in management and leadership!
