I have a condition called Sarcoidosis caused, I was told by the doctors, from those lovely open asbestos mines in cyprus, beathed in when I was a kid. Do you know if I can still apply for this test or who I can ask. Thanks in advance.

If you just visit your local hospital and inform them on this they will give you all the PROFESSIONAL answers. Also fell free to contact any local cancer society, i am sure theuy will be able to help.

where dso you live in Nicosia? There are two cancer societies, one in the North and one in the South and they DO cooperate!

Sorry mate, got confused in the rush to help. I am actually in the UK and I know that someone has asked the same question about marrow donations for Cypriots here. Don't know if they want to ship them back to Cyprus or even if it is possible but I know there are two people here that are looking at the moment. I might be of use to them. I have no idea if they are TC or GC.

You can still deposit data in the local marrow bank, ask your local cancer society, it does not matter where around the globe you are... thanks for the interest shown... you can still help!
