Hey hey...dont say more...you are going to say something shocking in a min!!!! Ok Russian boy...I saw that you live in Cyprus too...so I thought you knew that!!!

Ok lets have a break for Greek lessons...lets have a kitkat!!!

Well when I said I am going to eat my "xulopitta" I meant that you rejected me! In Greece and Cyprus when we say that he/she gave me or feed me xulopitta it means that he/she emotionally rejected me!!!!

Pitta is a kind of bread....you must know that...you must eaten souvlakia and shieftalies...didnt you???

Image

As for the puta...I dont know what else it means in other languages but in my language and especially in Cyprus...we say that for girls...actually older people say to younger ones or among friends...as a joke... and it really means the "private area" of a woman. I said it gentle!! Right??

Yep, you did :) I just attempted to make a joke, perhaps I didn't :(

Naturally I know (I hope) what a pitta/pita/puta means. But "I am going to eat my xulopitta" was new for me. Thank you for the lesson I enjoyed it.

=======
pitta n.
Any of several brightly colored perching birds of the family Pittidae that live in forests of Asia, Australia, and Africa and have a strong bill, short tail, and long legs

pita n.
A round flat bread of Middle Eastern origin that can be opened to form a pocket for filling. Also called pocket bread.

puta n.
means whore or bitch in portuguese, spanish, and Filipino
=======

BTW may be better to make new topic or it's not necessary. How you can see I'm a newbie here ... probably I have to read the rules :)
