| I dont know who he is but he must be in pain, he has what looks like the start of an egg growing out of the topside of his head. |

You guys can write a whole book and still manage to avoid answering the simplest of all questions... You are actually creating or at least you show that you can create even a psychological profile of a man you dont even admit you know or you dont know......
TAKE MY ADVICE: Become polticians!!! |

I dont know this man
fanos where do you see psychological profiling coming into this thread?
I see 2 people asking if it is you? .... Aperfectly reasonable question I'd say
1 person thinking she knows who it is (karma)
And 1 who has noticed an egg from this persons head and commenting that the person could be in pain.
No psychological profiling there
Do you know and I mean really know yourself who this person is??? |

Quite. What is philosophical about it, I think, is that once you accept the photo is of Fanos (which it obviously and surely must be) then the question which I believe Fanos is posing to us, is:
Do we, the readers, know Fanos?
And that is philosophical, because at what point do we "know" someone.
Do we on here "know" people because we have seen what they write in a public forum?
Can we ever "know" someone via the internet, or do we need to meet them in person? Or is it possible to "know" someone just from speaking on-line?
And what about people we have met? Do we truly know anyone? Do we truly know ourselves?!
Well I don't know if this was the intention of this thread or not, but... well, it certainly has started some interesting philosophical thoughts. |

| well all of you seem to be clever..... this question is simpler than asking you about the time!!! If you answer about the time you will actually use more words....this questions just needs an answer with two or three letters: READ YES OR NO? but you really have to make a fuss about it....eggs popping out, psychoprofiling etc etc, jsut answer (if you wish) the simplest of all questions ever...DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN OR NOT? |

Yes but that is what I was saying, isn't it!
Perhaps the question should be "Do you know who this man is?" or "do you recognise this man?" or "do you know this man's name?" etc. etc. |

| why bother with a more difficult question when the original one is so simple> I know means I am aquainted to, I have seen before, I know his name, I know who he is, I am aware of, I have met before, I have seen before, i know ehat he does for a living, I have awareness of his whereabouts, ANYTHING! |
