One that every one I know has on their IPod

One that I an even more extreme version of what I hate about countries trying to imitate something they do not fully understand or is not within their culture.

And now for a bit of absolute class. Jesse Cook, a Canadian with outstanding musical talent. Just listen to that guitar. Note perfect.

Those first two were pretty painful...

Thank you for the info on Jesse Cook, though - much appreciated.

Here's one more:

Justin Adams is another very important world music figure, having performed with a number of artists like Sinead O'Connor, Jah Wobble, Natacha Atlas and LO'JO. Currently in the Strange Sensation with Robert and headlining a festival in Dubai on the 10th. JA will be supporting Tinariwen later in the month at the Barbican (23rd if I remember right).

If any of the Turkish people are interested, here is Kenan Dogulu's song he's singing for Turkey at Eurovision.

I think it's awful! Sorry but he's trying to sing like Justin Timberlake and it's so obvious. This is atrocious for Turkey, why are they trying to imitate American music? I'm really pissed off actually, they're supposed to represent Turkey and Turkish music, this isn't very Turkish. Apparently they're still working on it but I'm sure this is roughly how it will sound...and to think Sezen Aksu actually wrote this song, it needs a lot of work

For what it's worth, I don't think it's any worse than Timberlake...

And certainly no worse than those wankers Mr. Mister with their Kyrie Eleison song in the hell of the 1980s. Image

 Dinos. It might not be any worse but you have to remember Justin is already cheesy most of the time but thats him and his style, to think that Kenan is trying to imitate him  not a very good move in my opinion!
