Dear Sir,
First of all please somebody tell me what is north cyprus and is it greek/turk dominated.

I want to come to greek cyprus and study, and because of it I want to know more about cypriots.

Do cypriots like foreigners[specially Indians], how is the law and order situation in the country and last how is the job market.

What is the offical language of cyprus, and what is the language commonly spoken.
Thanking you ajaygideon

South side greek is commonly used and north side turkish is commonly used but on both sides of the island they speak english as well, cypriots like everyone that is polite and repectable in their ways.
The south is very prosperous but the north has a lot of catching up and jobs are limited.

Even so the island is a paradise and many people would be so lucky to ba able to live there.

For the South:

If the foreigner is rich: They like him.

If the foreigner is poor: They ignore him.

Because a lot of poor foreigners from Sri Lanka and India live in Cyprus, the Cypriots dont really like them. If you are from Sri Lanka or India, it will be verry hard to find a good job.

Actually the official languages are greek and turkish, not one or the other.
